“ Amazing restaurant!! Loved their burrata appetizer and their kale salad.yummy kale salad. Pizzas were so authentic Italian. Awesome attentive service ”
“ I love coming here when I visit Bainbridge island because I love Neapolitan-style pizza. They give you scissors to cut the pizza, which is really cute. The only thing that puts me off is the fly issue that they seem to have. I felt like I was batting away flies for the entire meal during my last visit. ”
“ What exceptional pizza. And the pizza oven is gorgeous. We were thankfully seated very close to it on a cold, celebratory night. We've been to Vera Pizza-labeled places before and they are always a cut above. Speaking of which, they give you pizza shears here -- a first for me! Our pizza had dates, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze and the combination of sweet and savory was perfectly wed here. Also enjoyable, the Black Manhattans (not too sweet and a lovely start to the meal). Our little also REALLY enjoyed the meatballs and the Nutella-filled pizza crust dessert. ”
“ Had gone to Bainbridge to see an exhibit at the art museum, but they were closed due to a power outage (booo). We were hungry and were looking for a cozy place to get out of the blustery weather. Bruciato fit the bill. We were seated right away and got our order in quickly. I had the homemade limeade and it was refreshing and not too sweet. We had the potato and egg pizza, which was amazing. Nicely cooked egg in the center, delicious slices of potato, ham...it was like breakfast on a pizza, complete with that beautiful Neapolitan pizza char and crust. We inhaled it! Definitely worth a try if you find yourself on Bainbridge. ”
“ My family and I were very hungry one day after visiting the Bainbridge Island museum. My husband noticed this pizza place that looked a little upscale. I'm always concerned when this is the case because we have two small children and we usually are very casually dressed. Thankfully, my concerns were quickly assuaged to see other families with small children inside as well. They have long family style wooden tables at the front, with smaller tables towards the back - which is where we sat. You can see them baking the pizzas at a counter next to the bar which makes the experience a lot more interesting. My eyes immediately went to a canned Rainy Daze Stout and it was the best stout I've had in a while. The pizza offerings themselves seemed typical, but what attracted us most was the fungi pizza because the mushrooms were "whatever had been locally foraged." And my goodness was it delicious! The crust was very thin... so although I was very satisfied hunger wise, my husband was not. He loved the taste of the pizza as well though. For the kids, we ordered one pepperoni pizza to split amongst them two. And holy pepperoni! I don't think I've seen as much pepperoni on a pizza as I have that day. It is smaller pepperoni but the toppings were very generous. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't yet, the staff is very friendly! ”
“ If I could ask the cooks a question Id want to know if they prayed to the heavens for their perfect meatball recipe. They were seasoned to perfection and truly seemed to melt in my mouth. I had the joy of sitting near their huge oven and watching pizza being made. It was really fun. The restaurant was pretty busy but the staff did an excellent job taking orders and doing water refills. ”
“ We had a lovely dinner here while visiting Bainbridge. Even on a busy Friday night we thankfully didn't have to wait too long to be seated (party of 2). Our server Stacey was so sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. All her recommendations were spot on, especially as we tried aperitifs for the first time. Ambiance was lively and hip, but still seemed family friendly. Pizza was nicely thin with not too much char. Date and prosciutto combination was my favorite - surprisingly not too sweet or salty, and dates were perfectly softened, not chewy at all. We took a tiramisu to go and although a little pricey, was a fairly generous portion and had great balance. ”
“ Great pizza place! My husband was so excited to find a place with authentic pizza oven. Wood fired oven and good pizza dough were the foundation, with next decision being the toppings. We went with classic margherita. It was delicious. I love that this place gives you scissors to cut the pizza. We also got the Insalata rucola. It was okay. Service was decent and it seemed like a lot of local people ate too. ”
“ I've visited Bruciato in Bainbridge Island several times, and it never disappoints. The service is consistently quick, and the food is delicious. The pizzas are always flavorful with the perfect crust, ambience is top notch and the variety of toppings never fails to impress. However, during my recent visit, I found a hair in my pizza, which was quite off-putting. Due to this, I'm taking one star away. Hopefully, this was a one-time oversight, as my previous experiences have always been top-notch. Overall, it still remains one of my favorite spots for a quick and tasty pizza. I'll definitely be back, hoping for a return to their usual high standards. Rating: 4/5 stars --- ”
